Kathie’s porcelain pottery includes Yuba, Waterfall, Shino, and Desert Sky (turquoise) glazes. All glazes are made in her studio and final products are affected by the glaze application process, location of each piece in the kiln, the amount of oxygen in the kiln during the firing process, and many other variables.
Items intended for use with food are food-safe and durable enough to be placed in a microwave, dishwasher, or conventional oven (providing item is placed in oven at room temperature, and oven temperature doesn't exceed 350°F).
